Campaign finance data used in analyses of the health care ballot measures comes from the California Secretary of State’s Web site, which obtains its data from individual filings by ballot measure committees and major donors. Because CGS is dependent on receipt of accurate data from sources beyond its control, CGS cannot warrant the accuracy of each and every entry in its data analyses. Numbers reflected in the final campaign finance tallies after the election may be different than what is reported here, as ballot measure committees and major donors file corrections to their initial submissions.
