Summary Analysis
Proposition 67 is one of the two measures that have both significant funds for and against the proposition; the proponents ($5.2 million) and opponents ($9.2 million). Nearly all the funds have come from organizations (99 percent) with most of the contributors from California (90 percent). The top contributors in favor of the measure represent hospitals and emergency physician organizations, while the telecommunications and telephone companies have funded the opponents. The proponents spent over $1.7 million on circulation expenses.
