Summary Analysis
Proponents of Proposition 63 have contributed nearly $4.6 million, with opponents reporting only $16,000 in donations. While individuals and groups gave $341,275 in contributions of under $1,000, contributors of $100,000 or more donated nearly half the funds (48 percent). The top ten donors include mental health agencies, labor organizations, and an Indian tribe. The proponents spent almost $1 million to qualify the measure for the ballot. There were also $426,479 in independent expenditures against the proposition.

*Note: Contributions of under $100 are not required for reporting to the Secretary of State and therefore all contributions cannot be accounted for.
